Wondering how you knew you had cracked nipples? I am 4 month pp. I have no pain, nipples stay the same color but I have what looks like fissures and in my right side the milk stays in the fissure areas and dries up if I don't clean after pumping. Haven't experienced this before. I'm using a spectra s1 with 19mm flange. Checked size again and still seems like right size. I don't know if it's something to be "concerned" about or just a part of pumping life?!

You should not have fissures. It can be pump, pump setting, pump technique, or flange type, this should not be happening. Happy to assist with a personalized plan at the link below.
