Hello everyone! Hopefully I’m not the only one worrying about this but is anyone else having a dip in production months 2???? I am back at work trying to stick to the schedule I prepared for myself and don’t want to be discouraged. Any advice?

Hydrate, hydrate hydrate, make sure you are not stressed or overwhelmed. Going back to work can be a tedious thing because it’s so much of an adjustment from being off. Make peace in your space and again Hydrate. I usually drink about 6 bottles of water at work and a coconut water

Heyyyy mamas it’s me again

I am convinced that the birth control mini pill is the culprit of my low milk supply although doctors deny it. Has anyone experienced low milk supply w the mini pill?

My bump mate her milk went so low after going back on birth control that she gave up on her breastfeeding journey. I’m no doctor but when you do your research on the hormones it def does seem to affect milk production.

Hey mamas, I am 7months pp. This breastfeeding and pumping has been such a long journey. Pretty much been struggling since day 1.The pump in style pump killed my supply. The baby was super fuzzy n crying at breast so I combo feed since the beginning HUGE mistake.I should’ve just let him cluster feed every couple of mins. At one point he completely stopped latching. Now he latches for like a min or two but on and off. I bought the spectra the pink one and I get about 0.25 each section. Basically it takes me 4 days to make him a 4-5oz bottle. I also just bought the eufy s1 pro and that one literally gets me like two drops. I have tried all the flanges I don’t even know if im using the correct ones. This is so discouraging. My doctor told me to accept that my jour…

Are you hydrated while pumping?

I have the Willow Go pump and absolutely hate it. Is it just me? I can’t seem to get any output at all with the pump. When I was using it early on I was getting no milk then with research saw wearables can kill milk supply and then got a plug into the wall pump and have slowly seen an increase.

The issues I’m having with the Willow Go:

  • no to low output

  • I don’t feel any suction on my nipples. I even went up to highest expression and felt nothing. Clearly something is wrong. For loss of suction I reviewed willows troubleshooting and have done everything the video says to fix the issue and still nothing works.

Any tips?

So, I have a willow go and it is VERY gentle. It is not my go to for every pump session, bit it is my go to for my commute to and from work. So, after I had my consult with Dr. Dianna, I found out my body gets the most output from pumping pumping in stimulation/let down mode only. So knowing that has helped me with the willow go. A few things based of my experience with the pumps:

1. it is very very gentle, I have sensitive nips and I barely feel it. I ALWAYS make sure it is correctly positioned because one wrong move and it tus your skin and that's it lol.

2. If I want to get my regular output, I have to pump twice as long. With my spectra, I pump for 30 minutes and get about 6-8 (sometimes 10) oz combined. I can get that with my willow in about an hour. Since it's portable, I wear it while I drive and when I get to my destination I restart it and do another session. If I had to do that with any other pump or would be a definite no.

3. I am a 15mm on one side and 16mm on the other, but those inserts don't work on the willow go for me. I'm using 17mm on both and that's what gets me the most milk. In my traditional flange I use a15 and a 16.

I wish speeches had a wearable lol, with my first, I never got the willow go to work. I had super low apple and when I got them I was trying to relactate and it just didn't get anything out of me. This time around, I know how to pump based on my body and I established my supply with my spectra and traditional flange. I pump 7 times a day and only use the wearable 2 times a day 3 days a week (the days I work at the office! It's working great this time around!!
