Nursing & Pumping

Has anybody returned to work and is just extremely exhausted after pumping? I don't understand why the hard crash. I eat great, drink water, take my prenatal vitamins, and walk on my breaks.

I am not PREGNANT 🤣

I would also look at it this way, We've been at home for 4 plus weeks taking care of new life we brought into this world and doing everything we can to take care of us and our home life and our new babies, so going back to work and seeing that some stuff is still same old bull crap going on, and our hormones are still trying to get back to normal, it doesn't make it easier going to back to work and try to still pump and take care of stuff at work. Maybe just give it a little time, take your pump breaks as literal mental breaks. Or even emotional break if you feel so overwhelmed you need to nap or cry or just sit. But seriously, take pump breaks and use them. Sometimes I took 45 mins. 5 mins to just sit before I pumped and then 10 mins after I pumped to just get myself together before I went back to work. I didn't do it often, but I definitely did it and it helped me.
