Hey everyone, I am currently 6 months into pumping. In the beginning when my baby was born I didn't know about pumping and I was barely breastfeeding because my baby needed to supplement with formula. I am currently only producing enough to feed my baby each day. I am trying to increase my supply to be able to stockpile some milk in case I need to step away from my baby for a few hours and be able to stop pumping earlier then 1 year old. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I had this problem before I had my consult with Dr. Dianna. Honestly within the first 48 hours after I got my correct Flange sizing and the accessories that I needed, I doubled my supply. I also found out through her that the pump I was using (some random free medela from my insurance) wasnt responding well with my body at all. She suggests every 3 hours for 30 mins for the first 12 weeks. But Honestly you have to be in the correct Flange size AND make sure the pump you are using is what your body responds to. I would highly suggest to just make a consult with her and she will give you a schedule and I can promise you, less than a week, you will produce more!
