If you use more than one pump, do you pump on different vacuum levels based on the pump? Let’s talk about it in the comments.
Breast pumps have different rhythms and operations. Vacuum/Level 4 on one breast pump is not the same as vacuum/level 4 on another breast pump. That is why talking to someone that understands breast pumps will give you a greater chance of success.
On one pump I pump at a Level 8 in expression mode. On another pump, I pump on level 3 in expression mode.
Comfort is key and know that if you are pumping at level on one pump, certain pumps may be too strong or not strong enough if you switch.
That is why I recommend booking a Premier Pumping Consult™️ to understand how you are using any pumps that you already have, what you like about a pump, what you don’t like about a pump. If you haven’t used a pump then it gives me the opportunity to tell you about pumps. Before I give my professional recommendation, I like to ask these things in a consult.
I don’t always get it right, but I do know you will have a better chance than asking random groups of people that you will get a different answer from every time because they only have experience with a limited amount of pumps and some may not have used pumps for a long period of time. I’ve only been pumping so one thing that I do know is pumping.
I don’t want you out here trying to buy 10 different pumps…unless you want to 😉. I love a good pump, but learn more about them before you buy.
I offer premier pumping consults™️ and breast pump selection can be included in all initial consults. I also offer a comprehensive breast pump selection guide on my website.
