Hello! I was going back and forth about whether or not to post in relactation or the pregnant group. My son is 7.5 months old and I am currently ~9 weeks pregnant. A couple of weeks ago, I got the worst food poisoning and my supply took a huge hit (likely from dehydration and being unable to eat much). Additionally, my pregnancy nausea was debilitating and added to me not being able to each much. I have been breastfeeding twice a day and pumping regularly through the day (I work full time so my only opportunity to breastfeed is in the morning and at night). My pumping schedule is every 3 hours for 30 mins and I have done a few power pumps recently. How did you guys mentally prepare. I gave birth two months ago and my supply decreased from pumping 4 ounces to barely making half an ounce now. I couldn't keep up with pumping because I am alone for the most part and couldn't prioritize it. I would breastfeed her but top her of with a bottle and she started favoring a bottle over my breast. Now she won't latch and when I pump just looking at the milk feels so discouraging.
I have changed my food intake and nothing seems to help. I'm trying to keep a positive mindset but I don't know what to do anymore. Any recommendations or tips I would truly appreciate.

Please be careful pumping while pregnant as it has risks that you want to discuss with your doctor…but please keep in mind that your supply will drastically decrease until baby is born as your body is preparing for the new baby and milk supply will decrease and begin turning back into colostrum as time goes on. I just want you yo understand what is happening right now and a new pump or anything for pumping will most likely not help and would highly encourage you to speak with your doctor if you have not already.
