Pump Buddy System™️

Public·89 members

Hey everyone! I've been exclusively breastfeeding (nursing & pumping) so my schedule is not exactly the same each day. It varies based off a few things - one being cluster feeding at the breast. Below is an approximate schedule

Time zone- EST

7a, 10a, 1p, 4p, 7p 10-11p, 1a, 3-4a (unless I block out my alarm lol) honestly I usually end up missing one pump during the afternoon due to my son refusing naps/ being extra clingy during that time.

Anyone with a similar schedule?

Hi! I guess the first question is, how long have you been pumping 7-8 times a day? Then, how many weeks/months pp are you? .. then the bigger questions would be, have you been sized for a flange properly. What kind of pump are you using? Workhorse, small motor, or wearable?

For myself! I make sure to pump for at least 30 mins each time making sure to empty my breast, pumpjng the opposite breast that baby is nursing from during that real time nursing session. During the night (during my son's long stretch of sleep) I pump both breast and I'm able to see how much my body is storing outside of the feed. This gives me a better idea of how much my body is capable of pumping.

Ultimately, Dr. Dianna would be the better person to discuss the details of that with you to be honest. The major tip I could give you would be to book a consult with her to make sure you have all the write tools first. She has helped me so much with breastfeeding , I've been able to build a stash for my son.
