I use the pitcher method with this Mason jar as well. I have two so I can rotate washing and drying them. I pour all the milk I pump at work/home into them and after my last punp of the day I freeze any extra in 5oz bags and log it in my pump log app. If I have an over supply that is less than 5oz (which sometimes happens because I am pumping for twins so I need a full 50oz) then I put it in a separate bottle with a lid and use it as the first bottle for the next day since technically milk is good in the fridge for up to 4 days. I do try to use my milk as soon as possible though.
