Exclusive Pumping

I have been down to pumping 3 times a day for a few weeks (had an over supply but now make just what baby needs doing it this way). Just had a stay in the hospital with my son (all is well now) and while one nurse was taking us up to our new room 15 oz of my milk was thrown away (and the bottles!!). Want to add in another pump (or 2?) to get that supply back. Can i just add back no problem or do i have to do it slowly like weaning?
